We are here, in the first (left-most) unit of the 553 St Mary's building.

We do not have a receptionist. If the front door is locked, it may be because our staff are all in appointments. Your therapist should check for you/unlock the door about ten minutes before your appointment time. If you are here for a yoga class, your instructor should have the door unlocked at least fifteen minutes prior to the class starting time.

At times, the back door may be unlocked and you are welcome to enter the building this way, especially if there is a class in session at the front. Take a seat near the back door if you don't know where to go - we will find you!

Parking:

There is plenty of street parking in the area, including in front of the building on St Mary's Rd. There is also a parking lot (pictured) available to use behind the building (off Harrowby Ave).

Frequently Asked Questions

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, e-transfer, and credit card are all accepted.

Direct billing is available for most major insurers. Please check your plan for details prior to your appointment and bring in your physicians referral if your plan requires one. Bring your insurance card with you.

Do I still need to wear a mask?

We do not require clients to wear them, but encourage you to do so if it makes you feel more comfortable. It is impossible to "social distance" during a massage!

Massage therapists are often working as independent contractors. This means that we don't get sick pay if we need to take time off, so please reschedule if you know you are ill.

What should I expect at my first massage appointment?

The RMT will begin your first appointment by having you fill out a health history and consent form (it doesn't take long, but  try to arrive a few minutes early). They may ask you some follow up questions, or have you summarize what you would like to get out of your treatment. They may also do a quick physical assessment.

Once you've agreed on a treatment plan, they will step out of the room to allow you to disrobe to your comfort level. Get comfortable on the treatment table and cover up with the blanket and sheet provided.

After your massage, the RMT will leave the room again so that you can get dressed. When you're ready, you will address payment and book another appointment if necessary.

How should I dress for yoga class? Should I bring anything?

Wear clothing that you are comfortable moving and stretching in, and that will stay in place when you bend over.

Generally, bare feet are the norm as socks can compromise your grip on the mat.

You are welcome to bring your own mat, but it is not required - any equipment necessary for the class will be provided. You may want to bring a water bottle so you can stay hydrated.

I forgot to register for yoga class online. Can I still come?

We do ask that you register online for classes you plan to attend - you can do so up to 15 minutes before the class starts. Our studio and class sizes are small, and we would hate to turn you away because the class was already full!
